L9 Productions is an production company founded by university student professionals Ethan Edwards, Myles Dove, and Cayden Atkinson. Myles and Ethan have been friends and creative partners since their high school media class, where they discovered their passion for storytelling and filmmaking in classroom L9. Once at university, they met Cayden, and the trio formed an instant creative bond. With a shared vision and complementary skills writing, directing, and cinematography, Ethan, Myles, and Cayden lead dedicated team of aspiring student creatives, committed to bringing compelling stories to life on screen.

Creating has always been a part of my life, starting with traditional art, then moving to graphics design which led nicely into video editing and now cinematography. This unique journey allows me to approach projects from multifaceted perspectives, setting us apart in the creative landscape. I bring my own distinct style to cinematography, leveraging film's accessibility to connect with audiences worldwide.

I utilise my artistic vision to create visually stunning frames that engage and captivate audiences on multiple levels .Collaboration is central to our process. Working closely with my partners, we combine our specialised skills to create impactful films that effectively translate the director's vision onto the big screen.

We aim to take all of our ideas and transform them into films which resonate with our viewers and leave a lasting impact.

As a dedicated and hardworking director, I am proud to have been shortlisted twice for the BFI Media Magazine Awards for my music videos. I am passionate about creating deep and heartfelt stories alongside my trusted writing partner and creative partner, with whom I share a strong creative bond. In addition to directing, I also have experience in the roles of editor and cinematographer, ensuring that every project reflects my vision and attention to detail.

Together, we aim to produce films and videos that resonate with audiences. Capturing the essence of real life even within the realms of fantasy and comedy.

My vision is to bring to life snippets of everyday experiences that reflect the world around us.

Storytelling and filmmaking as a whole serves a profound purpose beyond mere entertainment. I’ve always been attracted to ‘The feeling’. You know it. The pit in your stomach as we wait for her response to his love confession. The urge to ‘look but don’t look’ as blood splutters all over the screen. The fear as you realise you need to hold your breath, so you don’t yelp into hysterics in front of the whole theatre. It’s what it’s all about.

With a breadth of experience spanning romantic comedies to intimate family dramas, I aim to deliver emotionally driven stories that linger with audiences long after the credits roll. I place deep trust in my creative collaborators — whose insights and vision are crucial to bringing our stories to life. With heavy influences from music, literature, and theatre, this gives me the flexibility to navigate across genres whilst remaining grounded in authenticity. I pride myself in crafting compelling characters that resonate with audiences and to allow them to catch ‘The Feeling’
